The important thing is not to stop questioning. Albert Einstein

I am a native San Franciscan, raised in the Mission and the Excelsior. I embrace celebrating the cultural heritage of all peoples. I see beauty everywhere, in everyone and in everything. My goal is to engender social consciousness and social justice within my family and within my students. My heart cries for the inequalities in our world, for the disenfranchised and for the marginalized youth. It is our duty, our responsibility, our obligation to be voices for the voiceless.

I'm half Salvadorean and Sicilian. I have been teaching for 10 years. I got into teaching for the sake of my children. I wanted to affect change in the world and what better way than to work with the leaders of tomorrow.
